PRICING
I calculate prices of the jewelry by calculating the following factors:
Price of the amount of metal that's needed for the piece (depending on the daily market price of silver / gold / platinum / palladium this can vary a lot over time)
Price of the gemstones
Price of any parts needed like chains / clasps
Hours of work
Other business costs like the costs of the tools including some tools that I craft / tool bits that may wear down fast
Taxes
Because the prices depend on so many factors and they can change daily, I do not choose to display them publicly and change them every day, also because many pieces that I craft on request are gifts and I don't think their value should be in the money spent. You can however, always send me a private message on Instagram to ask me for an estimated price. Just keep in mind that if you wait for a long time, prices will have changed.
Price catergory examples
Here’s an overview of some pieces in different price categories. I currently work for budgets of 500 euro and more so pieces with a lower value can only be ordered as part of a bigger order.
I have made the price categories as wide as they should reasonably be, considering price fluctuations and enough space for materials to fit personal circumstances.
